My Heartland keynote on making the moral case for fossil fuels

Last week I delivered an evening keynote address at The Heartland Institute’s America First Energy Conference. I discussed the basic challenge supporters of fossil fuels and opponents of climate catastrophism face in trying to persuade others–and my strategy for overcoming it. You can watch a recording of my speech here.

Human Flourishing Project episode 2: Upgrading our knowledge systems

In the last episode of The Human Flourishing Project I discussed the problem I most want to solve: human beings lack reliable access to the knowledge we need to flourish.

This week, I discuss what I think the fundamental solution is. It involves focusing on and dramatically improving what I call our knowledge systems—the systems we use for acquiring, explaining, and applying knowledge about human flourishing.

After you listen, visit our Facebook page where we’re discussing the question, “What’s a process you find effective for separating real knowledge from non-knowledge?”
